procedure
The 'Diet-Related Morbidity/Mortality Statistics' indicator uses two primary parameters: (1) the prevalence of individuals with physician-diagnosed obesity, cardiovascular diseases (CHD, stroke, hypertension), type II diabetes, osteoporosis, neurodegenerative diseases, and obesity-related cancers; and (2) disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) as a measure of disease burden associated with nutrition-related factors like high blood pressure, high cholesterol (total and LDL), and high blood sugar (insulin resistance/diabetes).
