(3S,5R,10S)-3-[(β-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-labd-8,13-dien-16,15-olide and (3S,5R,10S)-3-hydroxy-labd-8,13-dien-16,15-olide from Vitex negundo Linn. inhibit LPS-induced NO production, with the former compound acting as the strongest inhibitor with an IC50 value of 15.8 ± 1.38 µm, and both compounds significantly inhibiting IL-1β and IL-6 levels.
