Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi, code-named "Curveball," was a source for the German Federal Intelligence Service (Bundesnachrichtendienst, or BND) who fabricated reports claiming that Saddam Hussein's Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.
