The coding process for the study 'Neurodiversity in Practice: a Conceptual Model of Autistic Strengths' involved three steps: (1) MC completed initial coding using ATLAS.ti to identify in vivo strength-based terms and mechanisms of change; (2) frequency counts of in vivo codes were summarized in a code book; (3) MC and MM discussed codes and frequencies to group conceptually similar codes into categorical domains.
