The General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE) assesses parental efficacy by measuring a parent's level of confidence in confronting their children. The scale consists of 10 items, each rated on a 4-point Likert scale ranging from 1 (not at all true) to 4 (exactly true), where higher scores indicate greater self-efficacy.
