Attentional blink is a deficit in the perception of a second target (T2) when it is presented in rapid succession (less than 500 milliseconds) following an initial target (T1) within a stream of stimuli, a phenomenon believed to result from competition for limited attentional resources as defined by Slagter et al. (2007).
