Jennifer Lackey adopts a 'Group Agent' account of group belief, which she defines as: A group, G, believes that p if and only if: (1) there is a significant percentage of G’s operative members who believe that p, and (2) are such that adding together the basis of their beliefs that p yields a belief set that is not substantively incoherent.
