The research team developed 10 categories for health outcomes: cancer; cardiovascular diseases; mortality, number of deaths averted, or years of life saved (non-specific disease); type 2 diabetes; stroke; disability-adjusted life year (DALY) (non-specific disease); weight, overweight, or obesity; composite health indicators; quality-adjusted life year (QALY) or quality of life (QOL) related to non-specific diseases; or other.
