A 2019 analysis of 29 studies involving 3,274 participants showed that mindfulness-based practices significantly reduced psychological distress, fatigue, sleep disturbance, pain, and symptoms of anxiety and depression among people with cancer, though the results may not generalize to other populations due to the study sample being primarily women with breast cancer.
