The substituted phenethylamine 25I-NBOMe at doses of 0.1, 0.3, and 1 mg/kg reduced the proliferation of adult-born granule cells in mice, with only the 1 mg/kg dose showing a statistically significant effect on the number of BrdU+/NeuN+ cells compared to saline-treated controls.
