In the study by Cho et al. (2008), both 1.25 mg/kg and 20 mg/kg doses of MDMA led to reduced cell proliferation in rat offspring when measured 24 hours post-BrdU labeling, but the higher dose of 20 mg/kg resulted in fewer BrdU-positive cells at 28 days post-BrdU labeling.
