Melanoma cells, hepatoma cells, colorectal cancer cells, lung adenocarcinoma cells, and gastrointestinal cancer cells can be reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) through the induction of pluripotency-associated transcription factors, and these cancer-derived iPSCs maintain benignity without forming visible tumors in vivo.
