Singh et al. described a thermal liquefication technique for valorizing lignocellulosic biomass (LCBs) into silica and other biominerals. The method involves subjecting LCBs to an autoclave cycle equipped with a mechanical stirrer, pressure controller, thermocouple, and heater, set to 150 °C and 5 bar with continuous stirring. After the reaction, the instrument is cooled and depressurized to recover a liquid phase and solid substances.
