Red light accelerates stem elongation, while blue light facilitates biomass accumulation as well as leaf and root growth; however, a combination of red and blue light increases plant height, stem thickness, total leaf area, stomatal aperture, crown width, and total root length, according to Si et al. (2024) and Zhao et al. (2024b).
