Oxidized all-cellulose Microfiber Film (OCMF) exhibits superior wet strength, transparency, extensibility, thermal stability, biodegradability, and hydrophobicity compared to unprocessed hydrophilic cellulose fiber-based films and plastics. Additionally, OCMF demonstrates better dry and wet strength than chitin and chitosan-based bioplastics.
