The researchers used a Python script to scrape posts from the X platform (formerly Twitter) using the hashtags #UFO (117,000 tweets), #UFOsightings (21,000 tweets), #Aliens (79,000 tweets), and #UAP (66,000 tweets) between March 2022 and November 2023.
