Generate-on-Graph (Xu et al., 2024) treats the LLM as both a reasoning controller and a knowledge source. The LLM explores an incomplete knowledge graph, dynamically generates new factual triples conditioned on local graph context, and incorporates these triples into the reasoning path, which improves robustness in sparse-KG settings.
