(2016) found that four sub-anesthetic intraperitoneal injections of 10 mg/kg ketamine administered over 4 hours to postnatal day 7 (P7) rats led to a reduction in neuronal and glial proliferation up to 14 days post-injection, but levels returned to control levels by 21 days post-injection.
