Glabridin and Isoliquiritigenin from Glycyrrhiza glabra show antibacterial efficacy against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, with the highest efficacy shown towards Gram-positive bacteria as well as Mycobacterium strains H37Ra and H37Rv.
