During the 2014 Crimea annexation and subsequent combat actions in Eastern Ukraine, specific innovative and highly technical weaponry and hardware were applied, including electronic warfare systems, modern information and communications systems, innovative weapon control systems, integrated reconnaissance-strike complexes, innovative automated software, complexes for information-psychological activities and cyber operations, environmental control and space systems, and robotic systems such as unmanned aircraft complexes.
