In the 'Compulsively Trusting' case, Quinn is compulsively trusting of his friend Kevin, believing anything Kevin says regardless of evidence. When Kevin truthfully testifies that he is moving to Brooklyn, Quinn believes him. Opponents argue that while Kevin knows he is moving, Quinn does not know this because his belief is insensitive to counterevidence, thereby falsifying the Transmission View of Safety (TV-S).
