Effective July 1, 2025, the Maryland Criminal Injuries Compensation Board will consist of seven members, including one family member of a homicide victim, at least one survivor of violence from a community experiencing disproportionately high rates of violence and incarceration, and at least one representative of an organization that provides assistance to victims applying for victim compensation.
