Aaliyah Strong of Atlanta founded the nonprofit organization Tyme to Thrive in memory of her fiancé, Ty Ross, who was killed by gun violence in 2022 at age 28. The organization provides financial and emotional support services to families who have lost loved ones to gun violence.
