Patients with high C-reactive protein (CRP) and high lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) levels have a significantly increased risk for coronary artery disease (CAD) death compared to those with high CRP and low Lp-PLA2 levels (p=0.048).
