Plant species identification was performed in the field and at the national herbarium using taxonomic literature, comparison with voucher specimen references, and flora books of Ethiopia and Eritrea. Specimens were pressed, labeled, and deposited in the National Herbarium in Addis Ababa and Oda Bultum University.
