Larch seedling growth and development are significantly affected by light-water coupling; plant height, net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration rate, chlorophyll A, and phenolic compounds content reached their highest levels under a treatment of 60% soil saturated water and 50% shading, while shading greater than 75% produced inhibitory effects, as reported by Jin et al. (2024).
