The President of the United States is prohibited from sharing intelligence with the United Nations or its affiliated organizations unless the President certifies to the congressional intelligence and foreign relations/foreign affairs committees that the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense, has established and implemented procedures to protect U.S. intelligence sources and methods from unauthorized disclosure.
