In the MEG and iEEG experimental versions, stimuli were presented for durations of 0.5 s, 1.0 s, or 1.5 s, followed by a blank period to achieve a fixed trial length of 2.0 s, with additional random jitter (mean inter-trial interval of 0.4 s, range 0.2–2.0 s) to prevent periodic stimulus presentation.
