In the third iteration of their study, the authors analyzed a sub-sample of 50 open-source business models (OSBMs) sourced from the AngelList database, which resulted in splitting the 'key offering' dimension into 'free offering' and 'commercial offering,' and adding dimensions for 'customer interface,' 'communication channel,' and 'platform type.'
