Depression and fear of cancer recurrence are frequently studied together in breast cancer survivors, as evidenced by longitudinal research investigating their concurrent trends and associations [1], [2], and [3]. Studies consistently measure both constructs to evaluate the psychological well-being of patients over time [4], [5], and [6].
